Introduction to Caesarean Scar Massage Workshop

  • The Stables Barn Lane High Wycombe, England, HP15 7BQ United Kingdom (map)

Join this workshop to find out ways scar massage can help support your healing and recovery after surgery.

Learn simple techniques that you can use to get started with massaging your scar and leave you feeling confident about how you can support the healing process.

Scar massage can help in several ways including:

  • Increasing sensations and reducing numbness

  • Relief from pain and discomfort (such as itching or burning feelings)

  • Promoting healthy tissue formation, supporting the healing process and softening the area

  • Increasing mobility and reducing tightness

  • Improving the appearance of your scar, encouraging the scar to fade and become smoother

  • Supporting your emotional wellbeing, encouraging you to reconnect with your body again and feel more comfortable touching your scar and surrounding area.

This workshop suits anyone who has had a caesarean and would like to know more about scar massage.

Babies are welcome to join!

We will start at 10am so please arrive 5 minutes before to get settled.
The venue is booked until 11.30am so there will be time at the end if you would like to talk to me about your scar directly.

This workshop cost is £18.50 and includes the following:

  • A small bottle of massage oil suitable for scar massage

  • A £10 off voucher which you can redeem against an initial consultation appointment with me for a Caesarean scar massage
